Model United Nations

Model United Nations is one of the most rigorous activities at She Tin College and with each new round of delegates, our delegation only gets stronger. This year's cohort was no exception. Everyone who made it into the delegation showed unparalleled potential in the application process with us seeing extremely talented writers, speakers and debaters apply. With only a few weeks of intensive training, we sent our inexperienced delegates off to their first conferences with them all performing exceptionally, some even taking home the prizes of Best Delegate and Most Improved.

For some students MUN is the exchange of ideas and knowledge; for others it is a truly exciting and challenging game. No matter what we believe though, delegates expect themselves to be the best they can be when it comes to debating world level issues.

Throughout our years of being part of the delegation, I have found that no one is ever fully prepared for the intense excitement that is felt in a MUN conference and all our delegates have blown us away with the professional attitudes.

This year, we are very happy to have some new delegates and some old faced back in the delegation. We hope to have also a year of fruitful debates with delegates going to DCMUN, CISS-MUN, BEIMUN and HKMUN. We are also very happy to see some of the older delegates who challenge themselves and chair in particular conferences.

Finally, a big welcome to the new MUN leadership team who will work to ensure that MUN ran smoothly this year, and most importantly of all to our MUN directors, Mr George and Ms McAskie, who will continue to support the STCMUN com-munity.
